1. Millennium Park

• Maitama, Abuja

This is the largest park in Abuja, and it is one of the main attractions of Abuja. It is a good spot for a picnic, romantic walk, family fun time, photoshoot, church hangout and anything calm, but fun. It is especially beautiful in the evenings with a beautifully lighted ambience. It has a narrow river running through its center, and there are activities like bird watching, children playground, a water fountain, and green plants to just provide the freshness of nature. One exciting feature of this park, is that it requires no fee to enter, it is free and you can spend as much time as you want.

 

      2.      Jabi Lake

• Jabi, Abuja

This may be one of the most popular places in Abuja. It is a beautiful place to enjoy with family and friends.  It is an artificial lake, and it is free to access. This lake makes up for what Abuja lacks in beaches, as it gives you the chilly feeling of being by the beach. It is a nice idea for solo outers who want to be by themselves and do some meditation, while also giving into shopping instincts, as there is a mall beside it. Awesome right?
